Me & My Mission

— Tyger Petner, artist & founder

It's a nickname that stuck so well, I hear it more than my given name. It comes from a William Blake poem I discovered while in high school, which is also where I fell in love with nails.

The students in the aesthetics classes always had terrific hair, make-up and best of all, great nails. I loved the colors and the processes, the tools and sounds, even the smells of all the magical and mysterious things they used to work their magic.

As a young adult, I learned to do my own gel extensions. No information was easily available, but I learned all I could, studying pros' application and trying to emulate them. It was a steep learning curve, but eventually, I reached the point that I could do extensions for friends and family, if there was no rush. Still, I felt trapped in my pink & white baby boomers... I wanted the dazzling looks I saw in magazines and on celebrities, but it's fair to say that my early and primitive attempts at producing "nail art" were atrocious at best.

The explosion of online information was exactly what I had been waiting for. Finding more tutorials and data than I could consume in a lifetime, I dug in with a voracious appetite. Countless hours and sleepless nights were spent in study and research. Many more hours disappeared while painstakingly re-painting strokes until they were just right. Endless stores of gel polish, glitter, bling and cover nails were sacrificed to the cause. Most exciting, I began incorporating skills and techniques I gleaned from other artistic pursuits, discovering my own signature style in the process. A new problem emerged-- I only have ten fingers!

That's where you come in. Perhaps you also wish that celebrity styled nails were more accessible, affordable... and while we're wishing, re-useable. There are more designs floating around in my head than I could ever wear, so I'm delighted to share my art and passion with you. I want every set to make you look and feel as pampered and special as if you'd had them done at an exclusive studio. You'll apply them at home in minutes, but that can be our little secret. ツ

Time & Money

"Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend". —Theophrastus, Greek philosopher

Love great nails, but hate lengthly appointments? These are made ahead of time, then applied at the end in an instant. You can have eye-catching stilettos for Saturday night, and short again for work on Monday. You decide; change your nails at a whim with gel glue tabs, or choose a longer commitment with nail glue.

My nails are constructed with the same products and processes that high end salons use. They look fantastic, wear beautifully, and offer all the appearance of artistic salon extensions and enhancements, without sitting through all of the construction. I do the boring, time-consuming parts here, and you apply them at home. If you need another reason, you'll also save money as press ons are typically less costly than comparable salon treatments, and you have the option to re-use them.

That's unparalleled versatility. Use the gel glue tabs for a comfortable but temporary hold (an event, a party, a night out), then easily remove them without any damage to your natural nail or your cover nails. That means you can keep them to wear again -- like jewelry. For longer wear, I recommend an air-drying gel glue intended for use on nails. Wearers report anything from 1-3 weeks of continuous wear without lifting or popping. Naturally, your lifestyle, habits, and nail prep will be key in assuring they stay put, just as with a salon treatment. It's simple; I'll include helpful tips about how to apply them, and you can choose the method that best fits your life and needs.

⚠️ Be warned. Purchase may lead to a harmless obsession, resulting in a beautiful collection of stunning nails to choose from and re-wear.

Don't say I didn't warn you.
